Russell

Currently in his final year of University in Exeter, studying Archaeology, Russell has been a member of the Jersey Junior Handlers Association since he was four years old and has been successful in showing and handling his own dogs as well as other people’s in the Channel Islands, U.K., Malta and Antwerp.
As well as being placed fourth in the handling competition at the Malta Kennel Club Championship Show, he handled the CKCS he had used to Best Puppy in Show, much to the delight of his owners.
Russell also helps show other breeds of dogs, including Wire-Haired Dachshunds, Staffies, Rough Collies, Shelties, American Cockers and Tibetan Spanials.
At Crufts 2003, Russell handled in the breed for the second time as well as in the YKC Terrier Stakes for the first time and also in the YKC Show Handling Finals where he was short-listed. Continuing from the success with the YKC, Russell handled Minstrel to win the Terrier Stakes Final at Crufts 2005 and went on the compete in the main ring for the overall final.
During his last year as a Junior Handler, he was placed 4th in the Junior Handling Semi-Finals in Hounds 12-16yrs.
As well as competing, Russell has also been a trainer for his club and finds time to manage websites for Zidout Ceskys, UK Cesky Terrier Club and Taleem Labs.
Recently Russell has been added to the Cesky Terrier Club’s C List for judging and started judging.
